Bio Nebraska announced today it has welcomed Brad Roth, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Brad Roth is president and executive director of NUtech Ventures. He also serves as associate vice chancellor for technology development at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).
Dr. Roth leads a team of licensing and intellectual property professionals responsible for engaging with faculty, staff, corporations, and others to commercialize the intellectual property arising from nearly $350 million in UNL research. He also works with a wide range of campus, corporate and community partners to encourage innovation, enhance UNL research and potential research funding, and facilitate entrepreneurship and economic development.
Bio Nebraska’s Board of Directors consists of 19 Directors who represent industries across Nebraska’s biosciences including healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device; food, agriculture and animal health; and industrial and environmental biotech. Directors include four representatives from the University of Nebraska system and one from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Dr. Roth is the board representative for UNL.
