Bio Nebraska hosted a reception to welcome back state senators to the 108th Nebraska Legislature.
The event was held at the Scottish Rite in Lincoln, Neb. on Jan. 5, 2023, with many Bio Nebraska member companies and state senators in attendance.
Bio Nebraska members had the opportunity to talk with senators to emphasize the importance of the bioscience industry on Nebraska’s economy and highlight the quality, well-paying jobs associated with the industry (the average wage for bioscience sector in Nebraska is roughly $82,000 compared to the state average private sector wage of $54,000). Bio Nebraska looks forward to working with state senators this year on efforts to grow Nebraska’s bio-ecosystem.
