The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NE Chamber) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Business this week announced the 2022 inductees into the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame, including Gloria Thesenvitz, Nova-Tech’s founder, former Bio Nebraska Board Member, and Governor’s Bioscience Award recipient. The NE Chamber, UNL, and Nova-Tech are members of Bio Nebraska.

The NE Chamber and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Business today announced the 2022 inductees into the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame, including:
- Mike McCarthy, McCarthy Capital of Omaha;
- John Sampson, Sampson Construction of Lincoln; and
- Gloria Thesenvitz, Nova-Tech, Inc. of Grand Island.
The three will officially be inducted at the NE Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Hall of Fame Banquet Thursday, February 3, at a 5 p.m. reception and 6:30 p.m. banquet held at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. McCarthy, Sampson and Thesenvitz join a distinguished group of more than 120 business leaders whose work to grow their businesses in Nebraska have made a significant impact on the free enterprise system, Nebraska’s economy, overall job opportunities and quality of life in their communities. Candidates are nominated by individuals from the business community, business associations and academia. The program was established in 1992 by the NE Chamber and UNL College of Business.
