Bio Nebraska Announces 2012 Board Members

(Omaha, NE; January 12, 2012) – Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association is pleased to announce the 2012 Bio Nebraska Board of Directors.

The board consists of top Nebraska leaders representing a variety of biotech disciplines from academia, government and industry. Ten new members have joined the board, four are returning and nine are outgoing.

“On behalf of Bio Nebraska, I’d like to thank our outgoing board members for their dedication to the organization,” said Bio Nebraska Executive Director Phil Kozera. “These individuals were instrumental in the development of the Nebraska Bioscience Roadmap which laid the foundation for a vibrant organization. We are now seeing a leadership change within the board, and I am confident that these talented individuals will bring the same dedication to the life sciences industry as our departing board members.”

Bio Nebraska serves as an advocate and resource for the Nebraska biosciences industry, which includes agricultural feedstock and chemicals; drugs and pharmaceuticals; medical devices and equipment; and research, testing and medical laboratories. The  association provides opportunities for collaboration  and networking with members of the bioscience industry designed to foster growth of the sciences within Nebraska.
